Bo Yuan/Bapow moved to the country of the Netherlands when he was six years old. Growing up divided between two cultures, he had to find his own place to belong. This led him to pursue a career in art. Now, years later he is working as an illustrator. Dividing his time on a mix of projects between editorial, animation and personal work.

Bapow's style mixes figures, shapes and elements of nature. The result are scenes that form a surrealist translation of his views on life, love, ego, the human nature or maybe a good joke that has captured his interest in the moment.
